Maze7 Privacy Policy

Maze7 (“the App”) is a local, offline-first game. This policy explains what data the App handles, how it is used, and your choices.

Information the App handles

Data you create in the App (stored on your device)

The App stores game content and state locally on your device, including:

• Saved mazes and maze names you create or import.
• Match state, replays, and cached turn data for Game Center and nearby matches.
• Optional debug logs (if debug logging is enabled), which may include device name, device model, and iOS version to help troubleshoot gameplay issues.

This data is stored in the app’s local storage and is not automatically uploaded to the developer’s servers.

Game Center data (Apple)

If you use Game Center features, the App uses Apple’s Game Center services for authentication and turn-based matches. Game Center data (such as your Game Center player identity and match data) is handled by Apple under Apple’s privacy policy. The App stores a local copy of match state to support gameplay continuity.

Local network data

If you use nearby multiplayer, the App uses your local network to discover and connect to nearby players using Multipeer Connectivity. Your device name is used as a peer display name to identify nearby players. Match data is exchanged directly between devices on the local network.

File sharing and exports

The App supports exporting mazes to a file and enables iOS file sharing. Exported maze files are stored locally and can be shared by you via the system share sheet or file-sharing tools.

Data the App does not collect

The App does not collect analytics, advertising identifiers, precise location, contacts, photos, microphone, or camera data. The App does not create user accounts and does not request payment information.

How the App uses data

• Run the game and preserve your progress.
• Enable Game Center and local-network multiplayer gameplay.
• Provide replay functionality.
• Support troubleshooting when debug logging is enabled.

Data sharing

The developer does not sell or share your personal data. The App does not include third-party analytics or advertising SDKs. Data is only shared when:

• You choose to use Game Center (Apple processes Game Center data).
• You choose to connect to nearby players (data is exchanged peer-to-peer on your local network).
• You choose to export or share maze files.

Data retention and deletion

Data is stored locally on your device until you delete it in the App or remove the App from your device. You can delete saved mazes, replays, and cached matches in the App; deleting the App removes its local data.

Children’s privacy

The App does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Game Center usage is governed by Apple’s account settings and parental controls.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be made available with the App.
